Google Ads for law firms
Google Ads for law firms, without the wasted clicks
Synetix Ads runs your search ads and Local Services Ads for a flat fee, and bids on the consultation requests you mark as real matters. The fee does not go up when your spend does.
In legal, every junk click is an expensive one
Many firms bid on the same legal searches, so clicks are rarely cheap. A click from someone who wanted a free form, a job, or a different kind of lawyer still costs the full price.
Most firms only see form fills. A form fill from someone outside your practice area counts the same as a new client, so Google’s bidding learns to buy more of both.
How it works
Your site tells your ads which clicks became clients
- Bid on real matters, not form fills
- Each consultation request goes back to Google Ads as a conversion. When you mark it as a real matter in the CRM or the mobile app, a second conversion goes back with it. Bidding then learns from matters you would take.
- Match the page to the practice area
- A search for a car accident lawyer lands on a page for car accidents, and a search about custody lands on one about custody. A SmartSite tests each of these pages and keeps the winner.
- Cut the clicks that never hire
- The site sees what each ad visitor does. Searches that bring only clicks that leave at once become negative keywords, and repeat sources are excluded.
- Move budget to the cheapest real matters
- Each week, budget moves toward the practice areas with the lowest cost for each qualified request. It never goes above your cap.
Searches that click and never hire
Every firm’s list is different, and it is built from what your own visitors do. These are the kinds of searches it usually catches.
- Free legal forms and do-it-yourself kits
- Law school, paralegal and attorney job searches
- Practice areas your firm does not handle
- Court records and case lookups
- Repeat clicks from one source
Local Services Ads for lawyers
Local Services Ads put your firm at the top of the results with Google’s screened badge, and you pay for leads, not clicks. Synetix Ads sets the budget and bids and reads each lead. Its spend counts toward the same cap.
How Local Services Ads management worksAd copy is checked against bar rules
Ads are lawyer advertising. Each new ad goes through the same filter as SmartSite variants before it runs, and a failed ad is held for a person to review.
- No “best” or comparisons that cannot be shown to be true.
- No “expert” or “specialist” without a certification that your state recognizes.
- No promise of a result, a settlement or a dollar figure.
- Your state’s required disclaimer goes on the landing page the ad sends to.
This describes what the filter checks. It is not legal advice, and your state’s rules decide what your firm may publish.
Priced by the cap you set, not by what you spend
You pick a monthly ad budget cap, and the cap sets the fee. Local Services Ads spend counts toward it. Ad spend is paid to Google directly. Minimum budget $1,000 a month, minimum term 3 months.

Questions
- How much does Synetix Ads cost for a law firm?
- A flat monthly fee, set by the monthly budget cap you choose: Starter ($1,000 – $3,000 cap) $349 a month, Growth ($3,000 – $10,000 cap) $699 a month, Scale ($10,000 – $25,000 cap) $1,199 a month, Enterprise (Over $25,000 cap) quoted. The minimum budget is $1,000 a month and the minimum term is 3 months. Ad spend is paid to Google directly.
- Why does my firm get so many junk leads from Google Ads?
- Usually because bidding is told that every form fill is a win. It then buys more of whatever fills forms, including people outside your practice areas. Synetix Ads sends back which requests were real matters, so bidding learns the difference.
- Should we run Local Services Ads or search ads?
- Often both. Local Services Ads charge for each lead and show first, and search ads reach more practice areas and searches. Synetix Ads manages both inside one cap.
- Will you raise our budget?
- No. You set the monthly cap and only you can raise it. The fee follows the cap, not what is spent, so we have no reason to spend more.
- Who owns the Google Ads account?
- Your firm does. You link it to the Synetix manager account and can remove the link at any time.
