Google Ads for accountants
Google Ads for accounting firms, for a flat fee
Synetix Ads runs search ads and Local Services Ads for CPA, tax and bookkeeping firms. It paces your budget through tax season and bids on the bookings that became clients. The fee does not go up when your spend does.
Tax season changes what your budget should buy
Searches for tax help rise ahead of each filing deadline and fall after it. Ads that are set once for the year spend too little in March and keep buying tax-prep clicks in June.
And a booking from someone who wants a free return is not the same as one from a business that needs monthly books. If bidding cannot tell them apart, it buys whichever is cheaper.
Paced through the season, inside your cap
Ahead of the deadlines, budget moves toward tax preparation and extension searches. After them, it moves toward bookkeeping, advisory and business clients. The moves are 20% or less of a campaign’s daily budget each day, so nothing swings overnight.
The monthly cap is yours. If you want to spend more in tax season, you raise the cap for those months. Synetix Ads never raises it for you. Because the fee band follows the cap, tell us before you change it.
How it works
Your site tells your ads which clicks became clients
- Bid on clients, not form fills
- Each booking goes back to Google Ads as a conversion. When you mark it as an engagement in the CRM or the mobile app, a second conversion goes back with its value. Bidding learns which searches bring paying work.
- Match the page to the service
- A search for a tax preparer and a search for monthly bookkeeping land on different pages. A SmartSite tests each one and keeps the winner.
- Cut the clicks that never hire
- Searches whose visitors leave at once and never book become negative keywords. Repeat sources are excluded.
- Move budget to the cheapest real clients
- Each week, budget moves toward the services with the lowest cost for each qualified booking, inside your cap.
Searches that click and never book
The list is built from what your own visitors do. These are the kinds of searches it usually catches for accounting firms.
- Free filing software and do-it-yourself returns
- CPA exam, salary and job searches
- Tax agency phone numbers and refund status
- Services your firm does not offer
- Repeat clicks from one source
Local Services Ads for tax and accounting
Local Services Ads show your firm at the top of local results, and you pay for leads, not clicks. Synetix Ads sets their budget and bids through the season and reads each lead. Their spend counts toward the same cap.
How Local Services Ads management worksAd copy is checked before it runs
Each new ad goes through the same filter as SmartSite variants. A failed ad is held for a person to review.
- “CPA” only where a licensed CPA or registered CPA firm does the work.
- No guaranteed refunds or promised results with a tax agency.
- No “best” or claims that cannot be shown to be true.
This describes what the filter checks. It is not legal advice, and your state’s rules decide what your firm may publish.
Priced by the cap you set, not by what you spend
You pick a monthly ad budget cap, and the cap sets the fee. Local Services Ads spend counts toward it. Ad spend is paid to Google directly. Minimum budget $1,000 a month, minimum term 3 months.

Questions
- How much does Synetix Ads cost for an accounting firm?
- A flat monthly fee, set by the monthly budget cap you choose: Starter ($1,000 – $3,000 cap) $349 a month, Growth ($3,000 – $10,000 cap) $699 a month, Scale ($10,000 – $25,000 cap) $1,199 a month, Enterprise (Over $25,000 cap) quoted. The minimum budget is $1,000 a month and the minimum term is 3 months. Ad spend is paid to Google directly.
- Can we spend more during tax season?
- Yes, by raising your cap for those months. Synetix Ads paces spend inside whatever cap you set and never raises it on its own. The fee band follows the cap.
- What happens to our ads after the deadline?
- Budget moves away from tax preparation searches toward the services that still bring in qualified bookings, such as bookkeeping and advisory. If none do, spend stays under the cap. It is not spent for the sake of it.
- Do you manage Local Services Ads for accountants?
- Yes. Synetix Ads sets Local Services Ads budgets and bids and reads their leads. You set up the profile once in Google’s own dashboard.
- Who owns the Google Ads account?
- Your firm does. You link it to the Synetix manager account and can remove the link at any time.
