Synetix Systems, LLC (“Synetix Systems,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you visit our website, ask about our services, become a client, or communicate with us.

This policy covers our business as a whole. Text messaging has its own policy with the disclosures that mobile carriers require. Read the SMS Privacy Policy for how we handle mobile numbers, opt-in consent, and message data.

1. Who We Are

Synetix Systems is a business automation and custom software consulting company in California. We serve small and medium businesses across the Sacramento region and El Dorado County. We are the controller of the personal information described in this policy, except where we process client data on a client’s behalf. Section 10 explains that case.

You give us information directly when you:

  • Ask for a quote, an estimate, or a consultation
  • Sign a proposal or a service agreement
  • Call, email, or otherwise communicate with us

We can receive information about you from public business directories, referral partners, search and advertising platforms, and the systems a client asks us to work in. We combine this information with what you give us directly.

  • Communicate with you about projects, support, billing, and service changes

If Synetix Systems takes part in a merger, an acquisition, a sale of assets, a financing, or a similar transaction, personal information can transfer as part of that transaction.

5. Cookies and Analytics

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to:

  • See which marketing and search sources send us traffic

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site can stop working correctly if you block cookies. We do not respond to browser Do Not Track signals, because there is no common standard for them.

Third-party payment processors handle payments made to us. We do not store full card numbers on our own systems. Each processor handles payment data under its own privacy and security policy.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. Examples include access controls, encryption in transit, and limits on who inside our business can read client data.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for protecting your own passwords, credentials, and access to your systems.

8. Data Retention

We keep personal information for as long as we need it to:

  • Provide services and complete projects
  • Support and maintain work we delivered
  • Keep accurate business, tax, and accounting records
  • Resolve disputes and enforce agreements
  • Meet legal obligations

We delete, anonymize, or archive information when we no longer need it. Client project data follows the retention terms in the applicable service agreement.

9. Your Privacy Choices

Depending on where you live, you can have the right to:

  • Ask what personal information we hold about you
  • Ask for a copy of that information
  • Ask us to correct information that is wrong
  • Ask us to delete information
  • Opt out of marketing email and text messages
  • Limit certain uses of information where the law allows it
  • Get equal service and price when you use these rights

To make a request, contact us:

We verify your identity before we act on a request. We answer within the time the law requires. An authorized agent can make a request for you with written proof of authority.

Unsubscribe from marketing email with the link in the email, or contact us. We still send messages about active projects, support, billing, and security. Reply STOP to any text message to stop text messages.

10. Client Data and Systems We Access

Our work often needs access to a client’s business systems. Examples are CRM records, customer lists, call logs, email accounts, websites, and automation platforms. That data can contain personal information about the client’s own customers and staff.

We process that data only as the client directs, and only as needed to deliver the agreed services, fix problems, build integrations, provide support, or comply with law. The client stays responsible for that data and for its own privacy notices. The client is also responsible for having the legal right to give us access to any system, data set, or credential.

We return or delete client data at the end of an engagement when the client asks us to, subject to our record-keeping and legal duties.

11. Artificial Intelligence and Automation

Some of our services use artificial intelligence tools, automation platforms, and third-party APIs. When we use these tools, information can pass through third-party systems to do the requested work.

We choose tools and configurations with care. You are responsible for reviewing AI-assisted output, automations, and workflows before you rely on them for production or business-critical decisions.

12. Third-Party Websites and Tools

Our website and our services link to third-party websites, platforms, and tools. We do not control those third parties. We are not responsible for their content, security, or privacy practices. Their own terms and privacy policies govern your use of them.

13. Children’s Privacy

Our website and services are for businesses and for people who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child gave us personal information. We will delete it.

14. California Privacy Notice

California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act.

In the last 12 months we collected these categories of personal information:

  • Identifiers, such as name, email address, phone number, postal address, and IP address
  • Customer records, such as billing information and signed agreements
  • Commercial information, such as services you asked about or bought
  • Internet activity, such as pages you visited on our website
  • Professional or employment information, such as your company and job title
  • Audio and electronic information, such as your messages to us
  • Inferences we draw about which services fit your business

Sections 2, 3, and 4 describe where this information comes from, why we use it, and who we disclose it to. We keep each category for the periods in Section 8.

We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not collect sensitive personal information for the purpose of inferring characteristics about you. We have not sold or shared the personal information of minors under 16.

We operate in the United States. We store and process information in the United States. Do not send us personal information if you do not want it processed in the United States.

We update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We post the new version on this page with a new “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of our website or services after we post a change means you accept the updated policy.
