Productivity integration
Google Apps Script, wired into the way you actually work
JavaScript that runs inside Google Workspace, with direct access to Sheets, Docs, Drive, Gmail and Calendar. It costs nothing beyond the Workspace licence, which makes it the cheapest automation available to most small businesses — and the most overlooked.
What we build with Google Apps Script
- 01Scheduled reports that build themselves in Sheets and land in an inbox on Monday morning
- 02Sheets-to-Docs pipelines that generate quotes, contracts and reports from a row of data
- 03Drive automation: filing, renaming and permissions applied by rule rather than by hand
- 04Gmail workflows for parsing, labelling and routing the mail that drives a process
- 05Custom Sheets functions and menus, so a non-technical team gets a button instead of a runbook
Whether Google Apps Script is the right answer for you
A good fit when
Any business already on Google Workspace with recurring manual work in Sheets, Docs or Drive. No new subscription, no new tool for staff to learn.
Look elsewhere when
Heavy or time-critical processing. Apps Script runs against execution quotas and time limits, so a job that needs to move a lot of data or run continuously belongs somewhere else. We will say when you have crossed that line.
We only recommend software when it clearly pays for itself. If your situation is in the right-hand column, we will say so on the first call rather than after the invoice.
Google Apps Script questions
- Does Google Apps Script cost anything?
- No, beyond the Google Workspace licence you already have. That is a large part of why it is worth checking first — plenty of work that gets routed to a paid automation tool would run for free inside Workspace.
- Can Apps Script talk to our CRM?
- Yes, through the CRM’s API. A common build is a Sheet that pulls live pipeline data on a schedule and turns it into the report an owner actually wants, without anyone logging into the CRM to export anything.
