Website cost calculator
What is your website actually costing you?
Not the build fee. The build fee plus every month since, plus what you get billed each time something needs changing. Put your own numbers in.
Your current arrangement
The build or design fee, one time. Zero if you are on a builder subscription.
Platform plan, hosting, domain — whatever leaves your account every month.
What changing a price, adding a service or swapping a photo costs you. Often hourly.
Anything billed separately to keep the site findable.

Our line is $49 a month and nothing else — no build fee, no edit charges, no separate SEO retainer. Yours is whatever you entered above. Both lines start at month zero, so the gap on the left is the build fee you have already paid.
Questions
- What does a small business website really cost per year?
- Most quotes cover the build and leave out what follows: hosting, content edits billed by the hour, an SEO retainer, and a page fee every time the business adds a service. The build fee is usually the smallest part over three years. This calculator adds the recurring parts back in, because those are what the total is actually made of.
- How is $49 a month possible with no build fee?
- Because the design is paid for by the term rather than by an invoice up front. The minimum term is 6 months, and that is what covers the build. It is a different business model, not a cheaper product — we carry the build cost and earn it back over the term instead of asking for it before anything exists.
- Does the monthly fee really include content edits?
- Yes, and it is usually the line that moves this calculation most. Content edits and small changes are included, as many as you need. So are hosting, SSL, security patching, backups, local SEO upkeep, and a page for every service in every city you serve — which do not count against your page limit.
- What happens after the minimum term?
- It runs month to month and you can stop whenever you like. The domain is yours throughout, and if you leave we hand over the site and point the domain wherever you want it.
